Pandemic-COVID-19
A face covering is mandatory for customers aged 3 years and over at the time of boarding, at the ticket office and when the distance is not possible aboard the boat and / or the Zodiac.

Terms and conditions – Excursions (cruises)
You can cancel or modify your reservation for a fee of $ 6.00 up to 48 hours before the day of your departure. After this period, less than 48 hours before the day of your departure, no cancellation, modification or refund will be possible, the cost will be 100% of the amount paid.

In the event that Excursions en Mer Inc. has been forced to cancel your excursion (cruise) due to health measures imposed by public authorities in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the amount of your excursion (cruise) will be automatically refunded except for the $ 6.00 service charge.

General Conditions – Gift Cards, Gift Certificates and Credits
Gift cards, gift certificates and credits cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Terms and conditions – cancellations and changes
Any cancellation or modification must be made by phone at 418-986-4745 or online. Cancellation or modification fees correspond to the reservation service fees mentioned above.

Security and responsibility
Prior to boarding, all customers will be asked to answer a few short questions about their health status in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure that they do not present a risk factor to other passengers. If a passenger presents or has a risk factor related to Covid-19, they will automatically be denied boarding. No refund will be given.

In the event that a passenger’s conduct is detrimental to other passengers,

Excursions en Mer Inc. reserves the right to refuse boarding because of his behavior (intoxicated or otherwise), without compensation. The passenger will be responsible for all costs incurred as a result of his/her conduct.

The passenger acknowledges that the excursion (cruise) offered by Excursions en Mer Inc. involves risks of injury, loss or breakage of equipment, which risks inherent to navigation and weather conditions. Passengers must therefore play an active role in risk management by adopting preventive and prudent conduct. Passengers should therefore be attentive to the safety instructions of crew members and the nstructions posted on ships at all times. Consequently, Excursions en Mer Inc. declines all responsibility in the event of injury, loss or breakage.

Excursions en Mer Inc. may cancel, interrupt or postpone an excursion (cruise) in the event of force majeure or in the event of bad weather conditions.

The departure and arrival time of an excursion (cruise) and the type of boat are subject to change without notice. Excursions en Mer Inc.  offers no compensation for inconveniences or loss of time resulting from such changes.

Excursions en Mer Inc. is not responsible for the loss or theft of items or baggage on board the ship. By purchasing a ticket, the ticket holder accepts the above-mentioned conditions as well as the conditions stipulated on the ticket.

Special ticket – promotion
If a boarding ticket is issued for the purpose of an excursion (cruise) therefore Excursions en Mer Inc. is not the promoter, Excursions en Mer Inc. assumes no responsibility in the event, in particular, of cancellation or discount for this excursion (cruise). In this regard, the passenger waives all claims against Excursions en Mer Inc., its employees and agents.

Payment
Full payment is required at time of booking. Unpaid reservations will be automatically cancelled. Payments accepted are made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard).

Documentation
Excursions en Mer Inc. will send you, at the time of booking, an electronic confirmation of your reservation as well as all the necessary documentation to enable you to enjoy your excursion. The booking confirmation and an identity card with the same name as the one used for the booking must be presented at the ticket office where other documents will be given to travelers including the boarding ticket.

Excursions en Mer Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen documents.

Passengers traveling with children and senior fare passengers must present an ID card with date of birth.

If a child is not of the required age to participate in an excursion (cruise) according to the policy established by Excursions en Mer Inc. He will be refused and access to the boat will be prohibited and no refund will be granted for all costs incurred, for any loss of tickets or otherwise.

Cancellation
The trip (excursion – cruise) is non-refundable, non-transferable to another date or to a third party. Cancellation fees represent 100% of the total package cost per person, including taxes and service charges.

Travel insurance
We strongly recommended that our clients purchase cancellation / interruption travel insurance to protect yourself in the event of health problems or other unforeseen problems that require passengers to cancel their trip.

Responsibility
Excursions en Mer Inc. assumes no responsibility for inconvenience caused by delays that are not attributable to it. Excursions en Mer Inc. is not responsible for the loss, breakage or theft of items or baggage on board ships.

Children
Adults are responsible at all times for supervising children travelling with them, both on board and on the piers.

Pets
Pets are not accepted in the zodiacs.

For boat trips (cruises), dogs are allowed under certain conditions; they must be kept on a leash and remain so for the duration of the excursion (cruise), they must remain ashore on board the ship and regardless of the size of the dog. Dogs are not admitted, nor tolerated on seats, benches or other. Pets are not allowed on the fishing trip.

Admission
Should a passenger conduct him/herself in a manner that is detrimental to other passengers, Excursions en Mer Inc. reserves the right to refuse boarding to such client because of his/her behaviour, without a refund or other compensation. In such a case, the passenger is responsible for all costs resulting from his/her behaviour.
